The RSA500 series provides real-time spectrum analysis capabilities to address the problems faced by spectrum managers, interference searchers, and network maintenance personnel who need to track down sources of interference, maintain rf networks, and maintain work records. The core of the system is a usb-based rf spectrum analyzer, which captures 40 MHz real-time bandwidth and achieves excellent fidelity in harsh environments. Since there is no spurious dynamic range of 70 dB and the frequency range is up to 18.0 GHz, you can check all the signals you care about in the measurement result with high credibility. USB shape makes your hands no longer loaded, and replaced with a lightweight Windows tablet or laptop. With a lightweight PC instead of a heavy spectrum analyzer, you can move faster, get longer battery life and get things done faster.
Optional tracking generator can measure gain/loss, quickly test filter, duplexer and other network elements, you can increase the cable and antenna VSWR, return loss, fault location, cable loss and other measurements.
SignalVu-PC software is on site
Working with the RSA500 is a powerful program called signalvu-pc, which is the basis for tektronix's traditional spectrum analyzer. Signalvus-pc provides in-depth analysis capabilities not previously available in high-performance battery operation solutions. DPX ® spectrum/three dimensional spectrum real-time processing in computers, to further reduce the cost of the hardware. Signalvus-pc can be chosen by customers who want to program access to the instrument or the standard application programming interface (API), which provides a rich set of commands and measurements. The basic functionality of the free signalvus-pc program goes far beyond basic functionality. The base version measurements are shown below.
RSA500A, combined with signalvus-pc, provides advanced field measurement capabilities
Because of 40 MHz bandwidth, real-time unique DPX ® spectrum/three-dimensional spectrum diagram shows interference signals or unknown in each point, the shortest duration of 15 mu s support. The image below shows the WLAN transmissions (green and orange), and the narrow signals that repeatedly appear on the screen are bluetooth access probes. The three-dimensional spectrum (the top portion of the screen) separates these signals clearly in time, showing any collisions.
