本閥從設(shè)計(jì)思路上改變了傳統(tǒng)的靠機(jī)械變速來完成蝶板開關(guān)速度變化的模式，根據(jù)蝶板不同位置的動(dòng)作特點(diǎn)，從電動(dòng)驅(qū)動(dòng)控制上進(jìn)行了全新的設(shè)計(jì)。電動(dòng)法蘭蝶閥采取改電動(dòng)裝置輸入電流的頻率，進(jìn)而調(diào)整電動(dòng)裝置的轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)速度和輸出力矩，以達(dá)到控制蝶板開工關(guān)速度，實(shí)現(xiàn)蝶板快關(guān)、慢關(guān)兩階段關(guān)閉或慢開、快開兩階段開啟的目的。與液控蝶閥具有同樣的功能。本閥適用于介質(zhì)為水、海水的管路的 泵出口位置，作為閉路閥兼有止回閥的特性，用以避免和減少管路系統(tǒng)中介質(zhì)的倒流和水錘沖擊，保護(hù)管路．對(duì)于電廠、水廠等工作電源十分可靠的場(chǎng)合尤其適用。

當(dāng)閥門開啟時(shí)，蝶板與閥座在關(guān)閉時(shí)就接觸，利用蝶板偏心1、偏心2迅速脫離閥座，降低了密封副的磨損，磨擦力矩小，開啟靈活。偏心錐面3，使閥門在開啟或關(guān)閉時(shí)蝶板能通過閥座內(nèi)孔，實(shí)現(xiàn)接觸密封。另外，錐形蝶板的旋轉(zhuǎn)半徑大于密封副接觸位置的旋轉(zhuǎn)半徑，故蝶板在閥門關(guān)閉時(shí)將出現(xiàn)越關(guān)越緊，能夠?qū)崿F(xiàn)自鎖，防止蝶板過位。
